Diversity & Inclusion
A diverse team makes us a better firm. An inclusive culture makes us a firm people want to stay in.
Our Commitment
PDA Law is committed to creating and maintaining a workplace where diversity is valued and inclusion is practised — not just stated. We recognise that a diverse team brings different perspectives, experiences, and ideas that make us a stronger, more effective firm.
We are committed to ensuring that all individuals — whether employees, partners, clients, or third parties — are treated with dignity and respect, free from discrimination, harassment, or victimisation.
Our Approach to Equality
We are committed to equal opportunities in all aspects of our work, including:
Protected Characteristics
We do not discriminate on the grounds of any protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010, including:
Diversity in Our Client Work
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion extends to how we serve our clients. We are committed to providing accessible, culturally sensitive legal services to all clients, regardless of their background. We work with interpreters and translators where needed, and we are mindful of the diverse communities we serve across Chester, North Wales, and the wider region.
SRA Diversity Data
As required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, we collect diversity data for our firm. However, given the small size of our practice, we do not publish this data. To do so would risk identifying individual members of staff, which would be inappropriate and contrary to the spirit of the data collection exercise. We take this consideration seriously and believe that protecting the privacy of our team members is the right approach for a firm of our size.
Raising Concerns
Any member of staff who believes they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, or victimisation should raise the matter through our internal complaints procedure. We take all such concerns seriously and will investigate them promptly and confidentially.
Clients who have concerns about how they have been treated are encouraged to contact us or refer to our Complaints Policy.
